Improv Night with New Classics Company

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND - IMPROV NIGHT WITH NEW CLASSICS COMPANY

Everyone had such a great time with last years show from New Classics Company that we had to have them back!  This team of improv comedians is chock full of talent!

Come join us at the coffeehouse Friday May 18th at 7:00 pm for a night of hilarity, fun and drinks.  Tickets are a $12.  You can purchase online, at the coffeehouse, or at the door.

All unreserved seating will be first come, first serve!  But the last event sold out weeks before, so get your tickets early.

The New Classics Company is a live theatre production company established in the summer of 2013 and based out of the Guyer Art Barn in Hyannis MA. In the last 5 years, New Classics has become a staple in the Hyannis Community, bringing to light full-length plays, improv comedy shows and stage readings.

BREW BASICS – BASICS FOR HOME ENTHUSIASTS  Cost $35  Pay at the coffeehouse or buy tickets here.
 
Learn the basics of brewing to make a great cup of coffee.  We explain how recipe, grind size, and brew time all influence the quality of the final cup. Students will brew, taste, and discuss as they are led through the essential techniques and best practices for pour over brewing. Students also take home a 12 oz. bag of three fins Coffee Beans! No experience necessary.  

  • Overview of Coffee Roasting process and Roasting Demo (coffee beans will be freshly roasted in the class)
  • Understanding grind size for different brewing methods
  • Brew temperature, ratio, measure & timing
  • Debunking common coffee myths
  • Sample some Single Origin roasts and get in touch with your coffee tasting palate.

Afternoon of the Arts - FREE EVENT

An “Afternoon of the Arts” is an artistic event at the coffeehouse!

The event consists of 4 acts, (In The) Pocket will be performing live Jazz and Blues as well as officially releasing their EP which can be purchased at the event.  Dr. Carrie Koscher will be performing some poetic works of hers and Cross Rip Gallery abstract expressionist Hollis Fortune will be displaying and selling her work.  To conclude the evening, (In the) Pocket will be hosting an Open mic from 5-6 pm.  Sign up for open MIC at Three Fins Coffee Roasters for a 15-minute slot.  Three Fins Coffee Roasters is located at 581 Route 28, West Dennis, MA 02670

Come join us at the coffeehouse for a night of hilarity, fun and drinks while supporting The New England Society for Abandoned Animals (NESAA) with a Comedy improv show from the New Classics Company.

The New Classics Company is a live theatre production company established in the summer of 2013 and based out of the Guyer Art Barn in Hyannis MA. In the last 5 years, New Classics has become a staple in the Hyannis Community, bringing to light full-length plays, improv comedy shows and stage readings. 

Come join in on the fun on Friday January 26th at 7:00PM at Three Fins Coffee Roaster. Tickets are a $15 donation online or at the door. Register online to ensure seating or if you like to live on the edge show up and hopefully we have seats left. All unreserved seating will be first come, first serve! Cash bar and Raffles.

They are also in need of wet and dry food which you can donate.

Enjoy a morning sipping your coffee and viewing the colorful palette of Katie Jansson's art. 

Katie is a Cape Cod native who studied art at the University of Montana.  She lives in Barnstable where she works out of her barn studio.  Katie works primarily in acrylic and watercolors adding illustrative qualities to each piece she paints.
