Barista / Team member We are hiring Full and Part-time positions for our West Dennis & Chatham location. PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE YEAR-ROUND POSITIONS (not temporary or seasonal).

West Dennis shifts available:

Wednesday through Sunday closing shift 12-6pm &

Friday - Tuesday Opening shift 6:30 or 7 start time.

Chatham Shifts available:

Thursday - Monday opening shift (starts at 6 or 7 am)

Tuesday through Sunday closing shift (12 pm - 6pm)

There may be some flexibility on a few weekday only shifts.

The barista’s job is to be the welcoming host to the day and make specialty drinks to Three Fins recipes. You must enjoy coffee, have excellent customer service skills & enjoy working with the public.

To achieve success you must do the following:

  • Preparing and serve hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees and teas

  • Preparing and serving food items such as pastries

  • Operating coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders and brewers

  • provide pleasant, inviting, and attentive service for customers

  • respect and support co-workers

  • maintain a working knowledge of coffee and food offerings, serving each with thought and consideration

  • focus your attention on maintaining the vibe and prioritizing tasks that directly affect this

  • keep the coffeehouse clean and presentable inside and out at all times of the day

  • restock supplies to maintain the flow and efficient service we strive for

  • responsibly handle the register and end of day cashing out the till

  • taking on cleaning projects to help maintain our building and space, keeping all shared storage spaces organized, tidy & clean

  • regularly attend company meetings and trainings

  • once trained on bar, the ability to consistently serve espresso drinks that mirror the high standards we set in all other areas

Notes:

  • $14 - $18/hr basepay + tips that avg $8-$13 hr seasonally

Requirements:

  • demonstrated enthusiasm for customer service and coffee

  • help create a fun and energetic work environment

  • consistent attendance and punctuality a must

  • ability to follow directions and procedures

  • ability to focus and stay calm in a busy service environment

  • excellent communication and listening skills with customers, coworkers, and managers

  • attention to detail and cleanliness

  • ability to self direct during slow periods
