Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Baker to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior kitchen experience—or a passionate home baker looking to grow their skills in a professional environment. You’ll work closely with our Pastry Manager to produce high-quality baked goods, maintain a well-stocked pastry case, and contribute to a clean, organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake pastries and other items following established recipes and standards
Accurately measure ingredients and execute recipes with consistency and attention to detail
Stock and maintain an attractive, fresh pastry case throughout shifts
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in accordance with food safety standards
Follow direction from the Pastry Manager and contribute positively to the kitchen team
Assist in documenting recipes, procedures, and prep lists
Collaborate on new ideas, seasonal items, and recipe development
Train and educate front-of-house staff on ingredients and product knowledge
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior kitchen experience preferred, but not required—passion for baking is essential
Strong understanding of basic baking principles (or willingness to learn quickly)
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills!

Commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices
Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift 25 lbs
Schedule & Commitment:
Part-time, year-round position
Must be available for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
