Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Baker to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior kitchen experience—or a passionate home baker looking to grow their skills in a professional environment. You’ll work closely with our Pastry Manager to produce high-quality baked goods, maintain a well-stocked pastry case, and contribute to a clean, organized kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake pastries and other items following established recipes and standards

  • Accurately measure ingredients and execute recipes with consistency and attention to detail

  • Stock and maintain an attractive, fresh pastry case throughout shifts

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in accordance with food safety standards

  • Follow direction from the Pastry Manager and contribute positively to the kitchen team

  • Assist in documenting recipes, procedures, and prep lists

  • Collaborate on new ideas, seasonal items, and recipe development

  • Train and educate front-of-house staff on ingredients and product knowledge

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Prior kitchen experience preferred, but not required—passion for baking is essential

  • Strong understanding of basic baking principles (or willingness to learn quickly)

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills!

  • Exceptional Time – Management skills!

  • Commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices

  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs

Schedule & Commitment:

  • Part-time, year-round position

  • Must be available for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
